Vancouver's September Restaurant Additions

September 6, 2017

Our business development team has been hustling hard this month to bring some great additions to the ClickDishes family. We're sure these Vancouver downtown favourites will be crowd pleasers, especially with the added Grab & Go functionality brought to you by our app meaning that you can skip those long lines and tedious wait times.

CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice (West Pender Location)

CoCo could very well be the most popular bubble tea shop in downtown Vancouver with a long line snaking out of their storefront at any time of the day. They have promotions for two of their drinks right now including the Bubble Gaga (passionfruit green tea with pearls and coconut jelly) and their Red Bean Matcha Milk Tea. Apart from these two fan favourites, they also have other best sellers like their 3 Guys drink which is milk tea with pudding, tapioca and grass jelly. We definitely recommend adjusting the sweetness of your drink and the amount of ice to your liking through the app!

Memphis Blues Barbeque House (Robson Location)

We love a good backyard barbeque but now that summer is over and temperatures are dropping, we're grateful for restaurants like Memphis Blues to satisfy our meat cravings year round. They've got the whole shebang including beef brisket, pulled pork, BBQ chicken, smoked sausage, rib ends and even catfish! To accompany your meat of choice, there's all the fixings to go on the side like corn bread, slaw, collard greens, potato salad and fries. If you're coming as a group, they've got customized platters to feed everyone so no one will go home hungry!

Glory Juice Co. (West Hastings Location)

For a healthy and guilt-free meal option, try Glory Juice's amazing selection of acai bowls. They really load them up with granola and fruits which make for a filling breakfast or midday snack. If you're looking for something savoury, there's quinoa bowls, chia seed flatbreads and a variety of salads. If you come to Glory Juice, you definitely can't pass up trying one of their cold-pressed juices or smoothies. Our team loves the Espresso drink here which is made with alkaline water, sprouted almonds, dates, espresso, maple syrup and mountain salt. That'll definitely wake you up and give you that morning boost!

Poke Time (Royal Centre Location)

Poke is one of the best additions to the food scene in Vancouver this past year! So many poke restaurants have been springing up left and right but we love that Poke Time offers both poke bowls and poke burritos. You can order one of their signature creations (which you definitely can't go wrong with) or create your own. They've also released a new breakfast menu with some seriously delicious items like their Avocado Smash Toast and Nutty Banana Toast. You can make their toasts into a combo and pair it with a Hawaiian Kona Coffee for a full breakfast that will hold you over until lunchtime.

Cha Le Tea Merchant Cafe + Shop

Cha Le is all about minimalism reflected in their menu and aesthetic. Their storefront is modern, bright and beautiful, making it the perfect place to hang out and have a meal with friends. Their Prosciutto Toast with smashed avocado and poached egg is a real winner but for fish lovers, the Wild Smoked Salmon Toast is another great option. As a tea merchant, they pride themselves on their variety and quality of tea which you can order either hot or cold. They also have latte versions of their teas like their Matcha Latte or London Fog. Check out this hidden gem next time you're in the Yaletown area and snap a few photos while you're there!
