Hey Vancouverites! Got a case of indecisiveness? Well, the ClickDishes team is here to help you out. We've compiled a list of our top picks in the Harbour Centre food court to share with you what's good and worth ordering. We'll be writing multiple instalments of our favourite dishes in different areas to highlight the best of what ClickDishes has to offer.
Our social media guru, A.L, understands that when you're rushing off to work in the morning, sometimes you don't have time to eat a full breakfast. How many of you are running out the door with a banana in one hand and coffee in the other? A.L recommends these super nutritious and healthy smoothies from HealthFare to fill you up and hold you over until lunchtime. There's 8 different flavours for you to choose from, which means you'll never get bored of your options. A's top pick is the 'Strawberry Banana' smoothie which is made up of strawberries, bananas, frozen yogurt and milk. If you want a smoothie that's jam-packed with the good stuff, try 'Go Green' for a blend of spinach, peaches, bananas and pineapples.
Our brand ambassador, C.L, absolutely loves the "A" Grade Ribeye Beef Rice and it has quickly become his regular order at Teppan Kitchen. C.L says "the great control of the pan temperature results in the beef remaining tender and juicy while the rice is not overcooked and forms that addictive crunchy crust at the bottom". The garlic butter sauce gives the dish flavour and ties all the ingredients together in perfect harmony. C recommends upgrading to a combo which includes a miso soup and drink, with his personal favourite being the lemon iced tea. For those that don't feel like eating teppan dishes, the restaurant also serves a great Curry Brisket and a delicious Hainanese Chicken with the option of upgrading to a half or whole chicken.
Our sales superstar thinks that My Toan is one of the best restaurants in the Waterfront area for Vietnamese quick eats. I.Y likes that they provide an option for people who are too busy to sit down at a restaurant but still want to enjoy a bowl of hot pho during their lunch hour. Despite their quick service, the quality of food is definitely not compromised. I's glowing recommendation is directed to the Beef Ball Noodle Soup that boasts a flavourful soup base with good portions of rare steak and bean sprouts in ratio to the noodles. There are also plenty of other choices if you are not a fan of beef, including chicken pho and seafood pho. My Toan also makes some mean spring rolls that come out crispy and hot. If you are a meat-lover, you should definitely give this place a try!
We know you will definitely not be disappointed with our selection of Harbour Centre winners. Next time you're in the area, or if you work nearby, come give our suggestions a try and tell us what you think!
